"Whatcom Farms: Alive and Well?"
Brief overview:
An overview of the agricultural element of our County. The incredible diversity, beauty, economic and cultural contributions, as well as a look at its challenges and future. Farmers manage a large portion of the natural resources in the County's lowlands. Expectations are high that we do so responsibly which requires innovation, stewardship, and adaptability. It also requires a community that values the delicious and safe food, open spaces, and land and water management we provide.
